Il est détenu majoritairement par le ministère de la défense et de la logistique des forces armées (MODAFL), dont il dépend, et relève de l’Organisation des industries de la défense (DIO). Le MODAFL fournit un soutien logistique au Corps des gardiens de la révolution islamique (IRGC). Le DTSRC fournit donc un appui au gouvernement de l’Iran.
