In his former position as Head of the Partizanski District Police Department of Minsk, Dzmitry Burdziuk was responsible for overseeing the severe beatings and torture of peaceful protesters and bystanders in that district in the wake of the 2020 presidential election. In December 2020 he was appointed Head of the Oktyabrsky District Police Department. He is therefore responsible for serious violations of human rights and the repression of civil society and democratic opposition in Belarus.

Dans ses anciennes fonctions de chef de la police du district Partizansky à Minsk, Dzmitry Bourdziouk était responsable de la supervision des graves faits de passages à tabac et de tortures pratiqués sur des manifestants pacifiques et des badauds dans ce district à la suite de l’élection présidentielle de 2020. En décembre 2020, il a été nommé chef de la police du district d’Oktyabrsky. Il est donc responsable de graves violations des droits de l’homme et de la répression de la société civile et de l’opposition démocratique en Biélorussie.
