Educational institution. Kim Il Sung University, the Kim Chaek University of Technology, the Pyongsong College of Science, and the National Defense University are central to the DPRK's nuclear and missile programs, as per a Member State. They've participated in academic collaborations and exchanges with global universities. The Panel probed potential technical exchanges between Kim Chaek University and two Kuala Lumpur-based companies, suspected fronts for Pan Systems Pte. Ltd., or Glocom. However, Malaysia confirmed these companies ceased operations in 2011 and 2014 respectively, and were dissolved by 2019. Malaysia denied any knowledge of exchanges related to the DPRK's nuclear program and confirmed no DPRK nationals currently reside or work in Malaysia.
