LAVRENTIY ZAKHAROV is therefore an involved person through being an immediate family member (within the meaning of Regulation 6) of Alexander Zakharov, a person obtaining a benefit from or supporting the Government of Russia by owning or controlling (within the meaning of Regulation 7) a company operating in a sector of strategic significance to the Government of Russia, namely the Russian defence sector.
