The UN Panel of Experts explored potential technical exchanges between Kim Chaek University of Technology and two Kuala Lumpur firms, International Global Systems and International Golden Services. These companies, however, ceased operations in 2011 and 2014 respectively, and were dissolved by 2019.

Key player in financial operations related to the network of Global Communications (Glocom) in order to circumvent sanctions on behalf of the DPRK. Pan Systems in Singapore started doing business in 1996. Almost two years later, Ryang Su Nyo suggested establishing a representative office to help her in sales and logistics. The company is operated by the DPRK Reconnaissance General Bureau (RGB; KPe.031) and was designated by South Korea in March 2016. "According to a UN Member State, an Indonesian company, Advanced Technology Facility, on behalf of Pan Systems Pyongyang, provided training on how to use Glocom radios to the Ethiopian National Defence Forces in December 2022."

(Pyongyang branch) in the recommendation for designation by the UN Panel of Experts since September 2017. According to Footnote 81 (p. 32) of the UN Panel of Experts February 2017 report, Glocom's website was taken down shortly after the Panel had contacted its Malaysian front companies, likely in 2016. Paragraph 138 (p. 95) of the March 2019 report continues by stating that "Glocom reinforced its online presence in 2018 with a website redesign and descriptions of an array of new products" as well as social media activities. According to Paragraph 16 (p. 11) of the UN Panel of Experts September 2022 report, Malaysia stated that this entity ceased operation in February 2014 and was dissolved in June 2018. Global Communications as well as International Golden Services and International Global System are listed as aliases of Pan Systems Pte. Ltd. (Pyongyang branch) in the recommendation for designation by the UN Panel of Experts since September 2017. In Annex 1 (p. 73) of the UN Panel of Experts February 2016 report, the case descriptions features the abbreviation "IGS" for the company International Golden Services Sdn Bhd. In the following sentences, the report uses the abbreviations ICG and ICGS without further elaborations on what they refer to. This individual is linked to all of these entities.

Pan Systems is also controlled by and works on behalf of the Reconnaissance General Bureau, an entity that has been designated by the United Nations. The March 2023 Final Report of the UN Panel of Experts presents information that Pan Systems continues to engage in attempts to export arms. The September 2023 Report of the UN Panel of Experts identified the company as exporting and providing training in the use of military telecommunications equipment to the Ethiopian armed forces via front companies in Malaysia and Indonesia.

Global Communications as well as International Golden Services and International Global System are listed as aliases of Pan Systems Pte. Ltd. (Pyongyang branch) in the recommendation for designation by the UN Panel of Experts since September 2017.

Pan Systems is also controlled by and works on behalf of the Reconnaissance General Bureau which has been designated by the United Nations. The Director Disqualification Sanction was imposed on 09/04/2025.
