As a student attracted by Quaide Millat Mohamed Ismail Sahib; worked for student`s wing of IUML; State organiser, (i) Muslim Student Federation; (ii) Muslim Mohalla Jamats; Member, Makka Masjid Shariat Council; convened the State Conference under the leadership of IUML for propagating the Shariat Panchayat, peaceful co-existence between communities and establishment of Baithul Mal (Community`s financial help associations) in every muslim Jamat; as President, IUML, Tamil Nadu, working for Tamil language, communal harmony and national Integration and also for restoring the reservation of jobs in Government Departments and in educational institutions for the minoirty communities and weaker sections; Member, (i) Tamil Nadu Haj Committee, 2003; (ii) The Senate, University of Madras, 1977-1980; (ii) The Standing Committee, Bharathidaisan University, Tiruchy, 1980; working for religious tolerance, communal harmony and comparative religion; Hindu and Christian organisations have awarded a number of titles to him; life long mission is to work for harmony of hearts and meeting of minds of our people and to see India as the prosperous blissful land of peace, and happiness so that Swami Vivekananda`s dream be realised; Islam body and Vedanta Brain be united in India and our beloved country be `Saare Jahan se Achcha`
