Established eleven Higher Secondary Schools in Ranchi constituency and a College in Ormanjhi; Chairman of various Schools and College committees; President / General-Secretary in 15 Trade Unions; took up various developmental works with the help of Government funds and MPLAD Scheme funds and tried to solve many problems relating to schools, roads, bridges, traveller sheds, toilets, potable water etc.; committed to the cause of public service; proceeded on fast-unto-death and staged demonstrations for solving the problems of the needy people.
