En sa qualité d’ancien commandant adjoint des forces internes du ministère de l’intérieur, il a été responsable de la campagne de répression et d’intimidation menée par les forces du ministère de l’intérieur, en particulier les forces internes sous son commandement, à la suite de l’élection présidentielle de 2020, en particulier d’arrestations arbitraires et de mauvais traitements, y compris la torture, de manifestants pacifiques, ainsi que d’intimidations et des violences à l’encontre de journalistes. Il est devenu réserviste en mars 2022, par décret d’Aliaksandr Loukachenka. Il a le droit de porter l’uniforme et des insignes militaires.
In his former position as Deputy Commander of the Internal Troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MoIA), he was responsible for the repression and intimidation campaign led by MoIA forces, in particular the Internal Troops under his command, in the wake of the 2020 presidential election, in particular arbitrary arrests and ill-treatment, including torture, of peaceful demonstrators, as well as intimidation and violence against journalists. He was passed to the military reserve in Mar 2022 by the decree of Aliaksandr Lukashenka. He has the right to wear military uniform and insignia.
