Aksyonov Dmitry Alexandrovich

A Russian military figure who participated in the Russian invasion of Ukraine. He commanded "Yugra," Russia's first named battalion of mobilized troops, which was formed in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug (KhMAO). Before deployment to the front, Aksenov demanded "blood" from the battalion's soldiers and urged them to "kill the enemy."

Member of the State Duma of the Russian Federation of the 9th convocation. This state body is responsible for political and legal support of the aggressive war against Ukraine.
