In 2020, the DPRK's K.A. Medical Center in the Republic of Congo inked a five-year medical labor contract with Togo's NGO, La Perez. Under this agreement, the DPRK Center would support Togo's Health Ministry's National Health Development Plan by supplying its medical facilities with DPRK health workers. The NGO would handle the visas and accommodation for these workers.
