Summary

North Korean Embassy. Moscow-based DPRK official, Kim Ju Sok, arranged several contracts in 2020-2021 for DPRK nationals to work in Russian agriculture and construction. In December 2020, Mongolia reported to the Panel on an investigation into sanctions evasion. According to them, Russian citizen Choi Chon Gon traveled to Mongolia in 2019 to establish "Hanne Ulaan LLC" and open bank accounts, with the company's documentation sent to a Moscow address matching the DPRK Embassy. Han Jang su, a Third Secretary of the DPRK Embassy in Russia, allegedly executed operations tied to the DPRK's Foreign Trade Bank.
